Quick & Easy: Growing White Boston Lettuce in Raised Beds
Here’s my super simple way to grow lettuce seeds in raised veggie beds! No fancy methods – just good soil and a bit of common sense. My beds are packed with whatever I can get – compost, horse manure, weeds, cardboard – anything that breaks down and feeds the soil. If you want a steady supply of free green mulch (affiliate link), plant some arrowroot!
Once the bed’s prepped, I throw on a layer of potting mix, rough it up a bit, and sprinkle the seeds. Water them in and that’s it! White Boston lettuce is one of my favourites – it handles the Queensland heat better than other lettuce varieties and keeps pumping out fresh leaves.
